Working with pregnant women and new mothers is my passion!
I’ve been teaching pre and post natal yoga in Canberra for over 20 years, supporting women through pregnancy, birth preparation and early motherhood as well as attending births as a support person.
My work is informed not only by yoga, but also by training as a childbirth educator and experience in pre and post natal massage
I have trained yoga teachers (IYTA) and Pregnancy massage therapists (Nature Care College) helping to ensure more women are supported safely during this time
Over many years of working with pregnant women in California, Sydney and Canberra I’ve developed an approach that combines yoga, birth education and hands on understanding of the body.
Creating communities and connecting women to each other in classes, supporting them postnatally and teaching birth partners how to be present, helpful and loving during labour is all part of this understanding.
I love walking in nature, dancing, singing, swimming and hanging out with my wonderful family – husband, two daughters and new grandson!
As with many of the groups in class some of my closest friends are those that I met during pregnancy and parenting. I
I feel very blessed to have met so many incredible pregnant women and new mums who have enriched my life and continue to do so.
Classes offered are Prenatal Yoga, Mums and Bubs Yoga, Active Birth Workshops for Couples and Yoga with Partners.
