These classes were started 11 years ago by Julia and Tracey Anderson Askew with the intention of providing a friendly and supportive environment for new mothers and their babies. Classes are taught by Julia Willoughby and Suzanna Thell and supported by Tracey Anderson Askew. These classes have become very popular and have become one of our favourites to teach!
Bring along your baby (6 weeks to crawling) and enjoy an hour of yoga, songs, massage and yoga with the baby, relaxation for you both followed by a circle time to share the joys and challenges of mothering.
These sessions will help you to relieve tension and tightness in your body and calm and relax your mind, helping you to mother in a calmer way. The yoga and strengthening work will help to tone your abdominals and pelvic floor muscles and speed your recovery from birth.
In these classes each mother’s unique way of mothering is honoured and respected and no one way of parenting is promoted. Women are invited to share in a confidential and safe environment where they feel completely accepted and supported.
A great way to meet other new mums and make new friends!
