Mums and Bubs Yoga Classes

IMG_7994These classes were started 16 years ago by Julia and Tracey Anderson Askew with the intention of providing a friendly, relaxing and supportive environment for new mothers and their babies.

Bring along your baby (6 weeks /10-12 weeks if you had a Cesarean- to crawling) and enjoy an hour of yoga for you,  plus songs and baby yoga, relaxation for you both followed by a circle time to share the joys and challenges of mothering.

These sessions will help you to relieve tension and tightness in your body as well as provide tools of meditation and breathing to calm your body and mind. The yoga and strengthening work will help to tone your abdominals and pelvic floor muscles and speed your recovery from birth.

In these classes each mother’s unique way of mothering is honoured and respected and no one way of parenting is promoted. Women are invited to share in a confidential and safe environment where they feel completely accepted and supported.

A great way to meet other new mums and make new friends!
